\nFaltando menos de 5 meses para la realizaci\u00f3n de la 2da Edici\u00f3n de los Juegos de la Confederaci\u00f3n Mundial de Actividades Subacu\u00e1ticas (CMAS Games),\u00a0a efectuarse en T\u00fanez, del 5 al 14 de Julio\u00a02009 en\u00a0donde se realizar\u00e1n los Campeonatos Mundiales de\u00a0Apnea, Nataci\u00f3n con Aletas, Hockey Subacu\u00e1tico, Rugby Subacu\u00e1tico y Orientaci\u00f3n Subacu\u00e1tica; es poca la informaci\u00f3n oficial que esta organizaci\u00f3n ha publicado o enviado a las Federaciones Nacionales que participar\u00e1n en este importante evento.<\/p>\n

En el sitio oficial de la CMAS \u00fanicamente aparece el evento listado en el Calendario: http:\/\/www.cmas.org\/comspo\/agenda\/champdetails.asp?id=269<\/a>, mientras que en la p\u00e1gina oficial de la Federaci\u00f3n de Actividades Subacu\u00e1ticas de T\u00fanez: http:\/\/www.fast.org.tn\/<\/a>\u00a0no se hace menci\u00f3n alguna al evento.<\/p>\n

Esta falta de informaci\u00f3n en las p\u00e1ginas oficiales, as\u00ed como por informaciones extraoficiales\u00a0manejadas en la pasada Asamblea Extraordinaria de la CMAS realizada en Roma el pasado mes de Enero, indicaban que de no ser T\u00fanez la sede de dichos juegos, estos podr\u00edan realizare en China, probablemente en el \u00abCubo de Agua\u00bb, escenario donde se efectuaron las competencias de los deportes acu\u00e1ticos de los pasados Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos Beijing 2008.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, la propuesta de T\u00fanez, como sede los Juegos CMAS 2009 cobra nuevamente vigencia, ya que el pasado martes 10 de febrero, el Presidente de la Comisi\u00f3n de Rugby Subacu\u00e1tico CMAS (Soren Neubert)\u00a0envi\u00f3 en comunicado v\u00eda email a las federaciones participantes en esta modalidad, algunas informaciones referentes al desarrollo de esta modalidad, donde especific\u00f3 las fechas de las competencias, as\u00ed como las dimensiones y especificaciones t\u00e9cnicas de la piscina. En dicho comunicado adem\u00e1s menciona que en pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas la CMAS estar\u00eda publicando en su sitio web toda la informaci\u00f3n referente al evento.<\/p>\n

De igual forma, el Presidente de la Comisi\u00f3n de Hockey Subacu\u00e1tico, ha publicado en el sitio web UnderwaterHockeyWorld.com informaci\u00f3n sobre la piscina y algunos costos del evento.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0already emailed your guys .for general information the schedule is being published next week .Laurent from France has been there and the pool is great .the 50 meter flat bottom pool is all for hockey only .it is also 25 meters wide and 2.10 deep.
\nThe suggestion is that all athletes stay in the town of Hammamet which is 35 minutes away and is by the sea and full of great hotels with pools etc..
\nI checked some cost and from the UK you can take a 10 days holidays in first class hotel half board including flights for around 500 Pounds ( expedia site)

\nAbout the upcoming CMAS games in Tunesia we have the follow information to you. CMAS HQ is organizing all the logistic and application, so Please visit the CMAS Web page www.cmas.org<\/a> frequently for more information and\/or contact CMAS HQ or Pierre Dernier if any questions about the logistic, application, doping, accommodation, cost ect. The commission only arrange the gamearea, the game schedule, the referring and appointment of referees, and the work getting the uw-rugby games played and find a winner.<\/span>

\nPool measurements are at surface 20m x 18m and at bottom 18m x 18m. Depth of water is 4,50m. Distance from water surface to exchange area surface is 0,30m. <\/span>

\nThe playing direction will be the same as in Bari, with the diving tower at the end of the playing direction, this because the bottom wall has an angel on both of the other sides. <\/span>

\nThese facilities was build in 1968 for Mediterranean games. Other sports are in facilities made in 2001 for Mediterranean games, but there is no deep pool in the new pool area.<\/span>
