About the author\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Davide Manca<\/strong>\u00a0is a passionate Italian finswimming coach and former athlete with extensive experience in swimming, finswimming, and sports education. After being part of the Nord Padania Varedo sports team \u2014 later renamed NPS Varedo \u2014 he chose to dedicate himself to teaching and preparing new generations of athletes. He currently coaches a finswimming team at the Lido Azzurro pool in Varedo, located in the province of Monza and Brianza, working alongside Valter Mazzei, a prominent coach in the finswimming scene.<\/p>\n

Davide has been a top level World finswimmer, winning the European Championships in Open Water in 2002, 3rd in 1998 and 2004. He also took part to the relays who won the World Championships in Open Water in 1999, 2001 and 2005.<\/p>\n
