This Wednesday July 18, 2018 the Russian freediver Alexey Molchanov implanted a new world record of apnea in the constant weight mode, when descending with his monofin up to -130 meters deep on the 3rd day of the International Competition of Vertical Apnea Blue 2018<\/strong><\/a> that takes place at the Dean’s Blue Hole on Long Island in the Bahamas.<\/p>\n

The Russian, who took 3 minutes and 53 seconds of total immersion time exceeded his own mark of -129 meters, made in May 2017.<\/p>\n
