Free Diving Curacao and the Recognized Freediver Champion and Instructor Walid Boudhiaf<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0are proud to announce the first and annual freediving competition.<\/p>\n

OceanQuest Cura\u00e7ao Freediving Contest 2018:\u00a0Training Camp from october 22-26 and Freediving AIDA Competition from october 28 to november 4th 2018<\/p>\n

The competition was incorporate 3 depth disciplines, CWT – FIM – CNF spread over 6 days, thus enabling multiple attempts. The Organizers offer a training camp before the competition so you can get into shape, familiarize with the area, get to know the safety team and logistics.<\/p>\n

“I am happy to introduce you to my new freediving center Oceanquest Cura\u00e7ao on the beautiful island of Cura\u00e7ao, in collaboration with\u00a0Free Diving Curacao<\/a>\u00a0, we have great conditions all year round, direct flights from Europe, the US and South America, modern infrastructure and plenty of activities and good food on the island!” –\u00a0<\/em>said Walid on his Facebook<\/p>\n

At the training camp and competition John Mu\u00f1oz from Colombia was made a new national record AIDA for your country in stati with 5 minutes 47 seconds on november 4th.<\/p>\n

John achieved 70m in free immersion and 5’47” in static, which represents a new AIDA national record for Colombia. Slow progrssion and technique are the key to safely achieve goals.
