On Friday February 23 and Saturday February 24, 2024, the Croatian freediver Valentina Cafolla<\/strong><\/a> set two new world records in dynamic apnea under ice of the World Underwater Federation (CMAS) on Lake Anterselva in Italy.<\/p>\n

On Friday the 23rd, she did it in dynamic apnea with monofin with a distance of 140 meters, surpassing the record set a day before by the Japanese Yasuko Ozeki<\/a> (126 meters); while on Saturday the 24th she did it in dynamic with bifins with 80 meters, establishing the first world record for the CMAS in this extreme modality under ice.<\/p>\n
