From April 11 to 13, 2025<\/strong>, the National Indoor Freediving Championships were held in Turin, Italy, in the junior, senior, and master categories<\/strong>, as well as the National Paralympic Freediving Championships.<\/strong> These events were organized by the Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities (FIPSAS) with the endorsement and presence of international judges from the World Underwater Federation (CMAS).<\/p>\n

Valentina Crivello<\/strong><\/a>, in the 100m speed<\/strong>, beat the previous record of 40.47 set by Turkish athlete Adasu Ramazanoglu at the 2024 World Championships with a time of 39.42 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Later, Serena Rebosio<\/a><\/strong> also achieved the new junior world record in the 8×50 speed<\/strong> event with a time of 5 minutes 36.66 seconds<\/strong>, also improving the Turkish athlete’s previous mark of 6:02.48.<\/p>\n

In the Paralympic category<\/strong><\/a>, the three world records were as follows:<\/p>\n

Fabrizio Pagani<\/strong>, in Dynamic <\/strong>with a distance of 140.50 meters<\/strong>, surpassing the previous world record held by Frenchman Mathieu Leblanc by 6.50 meters.<\/p>\n

Husband and wife Pierluigi Bonafin<\/strong> and Michela Dal Bianco<\/strong> set world records in Dynamic Bifins<\/strong> with distances of 115.50<\/strong> and 94.50<\/strong> meters, respectively.<\/p>\n
