On Thursday, November 21, 2019, the 3rd edition of the UWR Academy was held in Berlin, Germany, an event that takes place one day before the Underwater Rugby Champions Cup and aims to share experiences and knowledge in person about this sport , through conferences given by players, coaches, judges and organizers of championships with extensive experience in this underwater discipline.

The first two editions 2017 and 2018 had a massive attendance and for this 3rd edition of 2019, Lorena Bianchi and Wolfang Tress, two of the main organizers offered the possibility to see each of the presentations through livestreaming via web.

The UWR Academy is a non political, non profit community to establish and improve communication and knowledge-transfer infrastructure for global Underwater-Rugby.
