The Italian Freediver Alessia Zecchini has set a new World Record this Friday, April 19, in the free immersion modality, registering a depth of -104 meters on the second day of the International Competition “Camotes Freediving Challenge”, which takes place on April 17 to 23, 2024 in the Philippines. The event and the record were carried out with regulations and judges from the World Underwater Federation (CMAS).

The previous record was held by the same Italian freediver with a record of -101 meters, made in the Bahamas in July 2021.
