Athlete Quotes & Impressions
Reflecting on his record-breaking Bi-Fins (CWTB) dive, Molchanov highlighted the challenge of pacing and multi-discipline preparation:
“It was the longest dive of my life (5m 25s). Having to prepare for all four disciplines for this World Championship, I hadn’t trained specifically with bi-fins for several weeks. As a result, my ascent speed wasn’t as fast as usual, but mental control and technical adaptation allowed me to complete the protocol smoothly.”

With this outstanding performance in Roatán, the athlete continues to expand his unprecedented competitive track record and set new benchmarks for deep freediving internationally.
