This event is the result of a partnership between the Portuguese Federation of
Underwater Activities (FPAS) and the Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities of
Extremadura (FEXAS).
The intention to organise the first international event for sports diving clubs emerged as
a result of the creation of the Portuguese and Spanish national sports diving circuits.
